Perched high above Queenstown on Bob’s Peak, Skyline Queenstown combines jaw-dropping views, family fun, and Kiwi hospitality in one unmissable destination. Take the steepest gondola in the Southern Hemisphere, soaring 480 metres above Lake Wakatipu for panoramic vistas of The Remarkables and Coronet Peak. Once at the top, choose your adventure — race down the luge, explore alpine trails, gaze at the stars, or dine in style at the Stratosfare Restaurant & Bar with world-class food and unforgettable views.

Coming Soon

A major new extension opens March 2026, featuring a 240-seat restaurant, a dedicated ice-cream bar, and elevator access to the Luge chairlift. The Stratosfare Restaurant will close for a short transition (from 13 March), but Skyline Queenstown will stay open throughout, ensuring guests can keep enjoying those epic views and adventures.

3. ZORB Rotorua

Just five minutes from the city centre, ZORB Rotorua is the home of one of New Zealand’s quirkiest — and most iconic — inventions: downhill ball rolling! Created and run by the original Kiwi inventors, ZORB lets you slip inside a giant inflatable sphere and roll, spin, and splash your way down four unique tracks. Whether you’re flying solo or racing friends, it’s pure laughter and adrenaline from start to finish. Warm water in winter, hot spas and saunas afterward — ZORB knows how to make fun feel good.
